Hey, guys!! Our favorite band did wonderful on Today's Kouhaku :)

Yes, the costumes/wardrobes were "chic" !!

I don't write the details right now coz there are a lot of people haven't watched the show yet.
Just wanted to tell they did great!!!!!!!!!!!

The Annual 58th Kouhaku soon will be kicked off!!

CSI was on TV show called "紅白フラッシュ 当日スペシャル" today, and was asked about what kind of costume/wardrobe are they going to wear on the stage.

He said it's going to be "CHIC".

Mmm....... "chic"!?!?
I didn't expect that!!

I love this episode!! Coz Ishii, Taka san and Nakai kun are just joking around during most of the time, lol, and Ryo-J is SOOOOOO CUTE♡

It's NOT a very easy job for me to translate Japanese into English. At least for me, Japanese is tricky language!!

N: Now, we'll introduce another guest. We could say they have the longest absence (to be back to this program).

T: The longest absence!?

N: The longest absence. They came back to our show after an interval of 9 and half years.

T: 9 and half year!? Wait, we've been doing this show for 10 years now, right??

N: Yes, we have.

T: They came as a guest when this program got started.

N: Yeah. This will be their first appearance after 400 episodes of Utaban.

T: 400 episodes!!

N: Please give it up for Kome Kome Club!

(The band comes into studio)


N: They came here for real.

T: Wow...

N: So, it's almost 10 years since the last appearance.

C: Yes, it is.

N: Should I say "It's been a long time" in this circumstance !?

C: It's much more than "a long time".

N: You guys were guest for Utaban's 18th episode.

T: I don't remember it at all!!

N: Tonight is our 421st episode. I absolutely don't remember what we talked about.

C: I guess we talked about something that offered us mental sustenance. Something that was very deep...(*joking)

T: Oh, come on!! You always say random/noncommittal things as much as Junji Takada!!

C: No, no, no!! How come you say that!? (Last appearance)remains in my heart.
N: That's a lie!!

C: It's 400 episode ago from tonight, right??

N: So, It's been 10 years since Kome Kome Club's disbandment??

C: 9 years.

N: That's kinda surprising. Time flies!!

C: It's amazing coz Utaban is still around.

T: This show has become something like a comedy hour now (not a music show).

C: (A comedy hour?? )Yeah, that must be it, coz Kome Kome is on it!!

N: Let's check out the clips which featured their single CDs and their appearance on 17th episode of Utaban to know what kind of the band Kome Kome Club was.

C: He's got fur on his back!!

N: I have never seen such an optimistic disbandment like this.

T: Who came up with disbandment first??

C: Who was it!? (Pretending like it wasn't him)

B: It's you, Teppei chan!!

C: Oh, yeah. It was me.

T: Oh, Ishii san did. But, everything is actually under the control of Bon san, right??

B: Well, not everything. Like, Teppei chan is the type who gets out of control. So, I'm just keeping the balance of this band as a leader.

C: Hey, that sounds like I was the biggest trouble in this band!! You should've told me more earlier(, then we didn't have to disband). Wish somebody stopped it...

T: (Asking it to CSI)Don't you have high-blood pressure??

C: Yeah, I started to lose my concentration!! (Saying it to Bon san) Was I trouble to you that much!?

N: Nobody but Ishii san talks on the TV show??

C: Yeah, I'm the talker of the band!! Our roles in the band have been like;

"Vocal ... James Onoda, MC ... Carl Smoky Ishii"

When the things got worse, it was

"Comedian... Carl Smoky Ishii"!!

That was one of the things that I didn't like about this band...

N: Have you ever thought about reunion??

C: Yeah, we will be reunited in May. No, no,no no!! It's just a joke!! Last time I said this, I was scolded!!

(Back to the studio)

N: So, you guys haven't change basically.

C: We haven't changed much.

N: But you guys got 9 years older, right??

C: Yes, we did.

N: Are you guys 46??

C: ...Yeah, somewhere around it.......

T: Joplin san is also 46 years old??

J: My beard is getting grey lately...

T: Joplin san, aren't you in 60s!? Are we only 1 year apart in age!? That just can't be true!!

J: No, my beard making me look older.

T: You are 60, right??

N: So, why did you guys decide to reunite??

C: Firstly, this is our 20th anniversary.

N: Since your debut, right??

C: We'd been hearing from each other. Our relationship has been good. (Pointing at Flash Kaneko and Minako) Like, we are family, so.

N: Are Flash Kanako san and Minako san lovers??

T: Are you two married!?

M: Not lovers (but a married couple)!!

T: So, it was love in the workplace??

N: (CSI is) an older brother- in-law (to Flash Kaneko).

C: I am.

M: At first, it was prohibited to be in love between the members though.

N: Wow, it was??

T: Oh, Minako san is older than Flash Kaneko san??

M: Yes, I am. But my age is arranged into 27 years old.

C: We intentionally stopped counting Sue Cream Sue's ages at 27.

T: (Arranging it into) 21 years old is not unnatural.

N: Yeah, having a 21-year-old kid is not unnatural for her!!

M: That is so true!!

N: Until when will you guys do this band?? Will you keep doing the band??

C: This reunion is for limited time only. We'll quit after the live tour in October.
T: After the tour in October, you guys gonna be split again??

C: Yeah, we are planning it to be.

T: Come on!! You guys finally reunited!!

N: Why don't you guys keep on doing??

C: Yeah............. Hmm........... Yes......

T: You really aren't in the mood (for keep on doing the band)!!

N: What do you really wanna do, Ishii san??

C: Like, we are not young anymore. (Pointing Tokuno)We have a 60-year-old member in the band,too!!

And, somebody might be gone (*dead) next year. (So, we can't say for sure to say "we will carry on")

T: (If you'll disband again,) you guys will meet each other only at funerals for members!!!!! Saying something like "Wish we could meet on some happy occasions....."

All the members break into laugh.

C: Yeah, could be.

N: Do it at you guys' own pace, maybe like once a year or so. Just do the music whatever you guys want to.

C: That sounds a good idea... What a solid opinion!!

N: Coz!! It's kinda waste(if you'll disband again)... I really like you guys♡

C: Many people in the front lines (of the showbiz industry) told us that they were fans of us.

They also told us that "Please do the Kome Kome again". That encouraged us to reunite.

T: You guys should not brake up again, should you??

N: I guess there's something that they can tell directly (to each other), so we've got "totalizers" here.

I think this will reveal the clear facts about the band. You wanna go first, Taka san??

(*Totalizer is something like this. Each member holds a small switch in their hands and push them to answer the questions.)

T: (Reads a question) "We could reunite finally, so let's not say it's a limited time reunion!! Let's keep on doing this band"

N: Good question. This question could change their minds...

5 said "Yes"

T: See??

C: Half of the band wants to (carry on).

N: This means 4 of you guys are thinking "I wanna quit after the 7 months of limited reunion!!"

T: But, you want to keep on doing, right, Joplin san??

J: Yeah, I'm old so (I don't want to break up again)...

C: Actually, Tokuno's apperarence hasn't changed much. He just looks older.

N: He is the type of a person who doesn't look different 10 years later.

C: James san and Joplin Tokuno haven't changed actually.

B: They looked older even when they were students.

C: They did.

N: I get embarrassed when I watch my past appearances (because I've changed so much), and go like "Please don't watch them!!".

I thought it was very cool when I watched your clips.

You guys don't get embarrassed when you watch those clips(because you guys hasn't changed much), right?? I guess you can proud when you watch them.

C: Not.....really....

T: (Reads a question)"After these 10 years, everybody got mellower(*more calm)".

3 said "Yes"

T: That means there are some people didn't get milder.

N: (Asks a question)"That is Ishii san who had not got mellower".

C: Why me!?

4 said "Yes"

N: Ishii san!! 4 thinks like that.

T: From the clip from 9 and half year ago, it was obvious you totally pissed off at that time!!

C: Totally I was.

T: You were like "I just wanna quit Kome Kome immediately!!!!".

C: I guess I was kind of fatigued...

N: (Reads a question) "I have had part-time job(s) after the band disbanded"

1 said "Yes"

T: There is one person who has(Saying it to CSI).

N: You hadn't have any part-time jobs. Have you Ishii san??

C: Hey, our job (*the showbiz) is something like part-time jobs!!

T; But, there is somebody who needed to have a part-time job for make his living. Right, Ryo-J san??

You were a delivery person for the food-catering shop??

R: Yes, I was. I also was a cook for that shop.

T: (*He knows which shop Ryo-J worked for, which is 金兵衛.) The shop which serves good sablefish, right??

R: Yes, it is.

T: That shop delivers a lunch with little macaroni salad, doesn't it??

R: Yes. You are quite familiar with the shop!!

T: That shop delivers lunches to the studios for glittering showbiz world. (Pretending as a "used-to-be-a-star delivery guy"↓↓ )

"Good morning, here is your order. Could you put your signature here?? [Ahhhh, I used to be in this kind of places.....] Thank you very much for your order!!"

N: What do you feel after you heard this?? You didn't give him any care??

C: Hey, wait!! Is it my fault if Ryo-J works at catering shop!?

(*Ryo-J is going like, "No!! No!!")

T: What are you going to do if somebody lose their jobs when you guys disband again??

J: Yeah, that's a problem...

T: Ishii san will be fine, but... you two (Flash Kaneko and Minako) are married couple, right?? That means you guys have to make living as a family. So, if the band get disbanded again...

M: Indeed!! Indeed!! I don't know how can we make our living!!

T: Right. You have to care about your younger sister!!

N: That's right.

C: Why don't we talk about something more interesting instead of financial hardships!?

Like something about our music. We are here for the first time after 9 years!!

T: I told you, this program is like a comedy hour!!

C: No, no, no!! Coz (that topic is) not funny!!

T: Alright, I'll ask you one more question. (*Pretend like the question was in the script from the first) "I don't want to make sablefish lunch or ginger pork lunch at catering shop again"

C: Hey, that's not on the list!!

3 said "No"

C: There are 3!?

JO: Number got bigger!!

C: We came back after the 400 episodes. So, let's talk something more special.

T: We just don't want you to disband.

C: We've been talking about catering shop for a while!! There are another things we can talk about.

Like, "Hey, Kome Kome's new single sounds very nice" or "That must be so hard to play that fast beats on the drums!!"

N: (Reads a question)"Our new single is good"

9 said "Yes"

N: Okay. I guess a lot thing happened in these 9 years (So, I'll ask this question). "It is very nice feeling to get back together again"

9 said "Yes"

N: That's wonderful!!

C: Yeah.

T&N: That's why we are saying you guys should carry on.

C: Hmmm...... Yeah... Hopefully....... You'll never know what gonna happen in the showbiz(so, we can't say for sure).

N: Ishii san!! You are so unwilling to carry on!!

T: Why are you being so negative about keep on doing??

C: I'm not!!

N: (Reads a question)"I don't want this band to be disbanded again"

8 said "No"

T: Wow!!

N: One is missing!! (Pointing at CSI)

C: No, no, no!!

N: That's terrible!! You can't do that!! Things were going fine with answers for last few questions!!

C: Nakai kun, that's just not fair!! You've been watching my finger (not to push the button). It's not fair.

Why you watch only my finger?? Does this program want to blame me for disbandment??

T: We just want you guys to carry on. That what your fans are wishing, too.

N: Right.

T: (Asking it to Minako)You have to wear skirt and show your legs... That's getting kinda tough(for your age), right??

And Hubby watches you and thinks "Honey, you don't have to do that..."

(*Japanese people call somebody's husband as "Danna san", which literally means just "husband" I guess there is no expression like this in English. So, I translated as Hubby.)

C: Would you please stop saying stuff like keeping people away from coming to our concerts in September?? I'm asking you!!

T: Don't you think so, too, Hubby??

C: Hey, could you please not to call him "Hubby" when he's on TV!? Don't call our members as Hubby or Grandpa(*Saying about Tokuno)!!

N: So, Hubby is...

C: Hey(Quit calling him "Hubby")!!

C: Everything was going so wonderful until we watched the clips.

I guess the viewers thought "Oh, I really wanna watch"(from the excitement).

N: Right.

C: But after that, conversation got too domestic.

We came here as a guest, and Nakai san welcomed us saying "Please give it up for Kome Kome Club!!" And we came into this studio with this jaunty white cloths...

Then, suddenly you guys asked "Are you 60??" (to Tokuno). And you guys tried to reveal about our financial difficulties. Isn't that just wrong as a guestshow??

T: You're acting like Yo Oizumi!! Yo Oizumi always gets pissed off(when he comes this show as a guest), saying "That's just wrong!! You guys have to praise me, I'm a guest!!"

C: Oh, alright, it's structural elements of the show... Then, that can't be helped.

N: Don't worry. I really like you guys♡

C: This kind of (praising) parts should be aired♡

T: Wait, Bon san is a leader of the band, right??

M: Yes, he is.

B: You are in charge of leader!! You have to try very hard!!

T: You should not let Ishii san take this much of initiative.

C: Wait!! That sounds like I'm poking my nose in his business!!

B: Teppei chan is very moody person.

C: Yeah, I am.

B: So, we are saying "Let's think about keep on doing the band only if our audience really enjoyed our stages for tour in autumn"

T: So many people are coming to your concerts, right??

N: They must have gotten huge expectations.

B: We are nervous for sure.

T: What are you nervous about??

B: Coz we have blank period for these 9 years.

C: Yeah, the blank period.

T: (Saying it to Tokuno)Oh, it got harder to move your hands and stuff (from aging), right??

C: Why do you have to digress from the subject (to aging)!?

T: And you (Minako) go like "(My legs used to be flexible, so) I could reach them more higher..."

M: Oh, please stop it... It's a serious matter for me...

N: What he saying has too much reality??

C: (Yelling to Minako) How come you answer to his joke so seriously!?

Song for Kohaku has been Announced

Kome Kome Club is going to perform for this year's Kohaku,
And according to NHK, song which K2C will perform for the program has been announced.

It's titled that "「愛君浪漫」"
It's obviously a medley containing 3 songs.
Yup, you can guess it from Kanji letters which are used.

I know 2 songs for sure, they must be "君がいるだけで" and "浪漫飛行"
But I don't know which song is "愛" standing for.

Kome Kome Club has 7 songs which its titles start from the letter "愛".
On Kohaku, musicians perform the songs which are most famous, or represent what they are most.
(Technically, musician has no choice for picking which songs to perform. Cause NHK decides them!! Isn't it so weird??)

So, my guess would be "愛してる", "愛 know マジック" or "愛の歯ブラシセット".

Too bad that they'll perform the songs from '80s and '90s...
Well, but I guess it's always better than nothing.
So, I'm looking forward to see them perform in New Year's Eve.

K2C's Tour will be on TV

As a result of success of the compilation album "R35", SkyPerfecTV! (Japanese satellite TV) is going to air some TV programs which featured artists from that CD.

Kome Kome Club will be featured on a program at Pay-Per-View channel on the SkyPerfectTV! in January.

The program will air the digest version of 3 kinds of live tours after the reunion; "アトノマツリ", "マエノマツリ" and "ホントマツリ".

I guess everything you'll see on that show is from KOMEMORYⅢanyways!!
So, purchasing KOMEMORYⅢ is strongly recommended.

This was their first time to jam with SMAP since the last appearance in 1997.

I thought this show was "okay", not too bad...
I prefer K2C's own performance, not with anybody else, you know??

Hello!? I can't even see Ryo-J, lol (It happens all the time)!!
Yes, K2C's biggest hit "again".
Do they really have to play this song every time??
It's a good song, but I'm kinda bored with this song...................
Uh..., what's wrong with the background SFX thing!?!?
Why it's "pyramids in the desert"!?!?


#2 俺たちの想い

One little part of the lyric was changed from the performance on Bokurno Ongaku.
And that helped me to understand lyric better.
Bon san lookin so happy playing this song!!
Again, Egyptian motif on the background annoyed me so much.....


#3 浪漫飛行(Technically, "嗚呼! 浪漫飛行")

Background has been changed, yay!!
I'm not big fan of the original song, but I really love the 嗚呼! 浪漫飛行 ver.
SMAP was doing same dance moves with SUEC, and Kusnagi kun was looking so cute :)



#4 Shake Hip!

Be chan was lipsyncing intro part with big smile!! Every time I look him smile, I go like "God, he has perfect smile!!!!"

I remember Shingo chan went so wild when he was singing this song a decade ago.
He seems like he really likes this song.

Among the songs on this show, I love "Shake Hip!" performance best :)

Well, as I stated in the beginning, this show wasn't that bad.
It's always nice to see the gangs sing and play their songs!!
Hopefully K2C will be on TV sooooooooon.

The show is rerun, which was originally aired on August 24th, 1988.
K2C performs their first hit, "Kome Kome War" on that episode.

bB Surprise Live

Here is the pix for Toyota bB Surprise Live taken in May 21st of 2006.

This live was taken place at Tokyo Disney Resort, Chiba, Japan.
Kome Kome Club jamed with Home Made Kazoku, and they performed "アイコトバはア・ブラ・カダ・ブラ(Aikotoba wa Abracadabra)".

This was the first live performance for 米米Club since they officially announced their reunion.

Man, they nailed it!!
They did a new song, too!!

Guest for Talk segment: 中川 翔子(Shoko Nakagawa a.k.a shokotan)

Basically, they were talking about their thoughts on live concerts.
Tokuno was really funny!! He even sang "豆の歌(Song of beans)" for Shokotan, lol.

#1 君がいるだけで

Every time I see them on the stage set of the music show, I feel "Oh, crowded again", lol.
Anyways, I really LOVE their arrangement on this song!!
It's kinda like Jazz, and it was so smooth.
Nice sounds of percussions and great orchestration.

(I'm a Ryo-J fan, so let me write a bit about him.)
A percussion he was playing on this song is called "Cajon", is a Prussian instrument.
Mmm... He's HOT!! So happy to see him play percussion!!


#2 嗚呼! 浪漫飛行

The room got even narrower, lol. Bugs Under Groove joined as dancers.
Yup, this is a b-side song from "We Are Music!" single.
I like this song better than the original version.
Again, the orchestration giving the wonderful flavor to the song.
Everyone seems enjoying themselves in the performance!!
I like to see them playing songs with smiles on their faces:)

#3 俺達の想い New song for Dralion, a circus show

Yay!! The new song!!
I'd been wondering what kind of this song would be like, cause all I knew was the song title.
This song is AWESOME.
In a song, they are singing about how happy they are to back again.

Kome Kome Club closed their concert tour for this year today @ Yokohama Arena.
Today's concert has been recorded, so i think we can expect DVD of the tour would come out. (Not confirmed yet!!)

Komedia.jp is JUST AWESOME!!

I was taking little time off from this weblog due to my health issue (I have terrible hernia...), but now I'm back.
Well, while I was gone, K2C released a-first-album-in-a-decade, "Komedia.jp".
Did you guys check it??

Let me tell you this,
This album totally ROCKS!!

I was kinda disappointed to learn that this album debuted only at No.10 on Japanese music chart...
But well, this album is just Awesome anyways so, I'm happy as hell.

I LOVE every single song, but my most favorite songs are;
"Russian Roommate" and "忘れないよ(pronounced wasure-naiyo means I'll never forget you)".

Just posting some K2C interviews and news are not so interesting enough, so I decided to put some song translation in English.

First song is going to be "忘れないよ(Wasure naiyo)"

Celebrate the day of K2C part 2

I found another article on Annual Anniversary of the Day of K2C with REALLY GOOD pix.

This was the second time of the band and fans celebrated the day, but I think it should be counted as "First Year" because, unlike last year, boys on the instruments joined this festival!!!!!

て「今日は米米CLUBの方から3人、カールスモーキー石井、リョウジ、フラッシュ金子と3人で…」

ミ「オス…」

て「そして対抗しようと…」

ミ「はい！HOME MADE 家族からは3人で…」

て「3人で…3人しかいね～じゃねぇか！」

一同「うふふふふ…」

ミ「そ～っすね、大、中、小、揃っております。」

て「大、中、小と…で～あの～何かさっきも話したんだけど、前身のバンドがあった…つ～ね？」

ク「はい！」

ミ「はい！」（3人順番に…）

ユ「はい！」

て「それが～え～と…何とかサンボ、って言うんだよね…？」

ミ「そうですね～あの～ハゼクロサンボって言う…」

て「そん～時は何人ぐらいのバンドだったの？」

ミ「え～4人？…」（クロに向かって…）

ク「うん！何で聞いてんだ俺に、」

ミ「いやっ…へへへ…」

ク「はははは…」

ミ「たしか…4人です。」

て「あっ、そう～なんだ…」

ミ「はい、ま～けっこう何か、母体になるグループがあって、まっそれが～いろいろ、名前も変わったりとか、人数も、いろいろ入ったり抜けたりもしてたので、結構バラバラしてんですけど…」

て「ラップの人達って、結構、ねっ、こう、いろいろ渡り歩いたりしてるよね？」

き「この前さ，ラジオ聞いてたら」

ミ「はい！」

き「シーモネーター？が出てて…」

ミ「あっ、はい！」

き「名前を変えて、シーモとか言う名前にしてて…」

ク「そうです、そうです…」

ミ「ふんふん…」

き「すげ～曲が良くて、まっそれは良いんだけど、」

ミ「あ～～…？」

ク「うふふ…」

き「で、ま～、彼らの、後輩で、意気の良い奴が名古屋に沢山いて、そん中でHOME MADE 家族の名前をあげてて…なんか…」

ミ「は～い」

き「そう…名前が出てて、何か、兄貴的存在なんでしょ？」

ミ「そうですね～、あの～、名古屋ではシーモさんは、塾長と呼ばれていて、」

き「塾長～！」

ミ「は～い…あの～、まぁ～、裸に天狗を付けてライブをする人なんですけども…」

き「そうですか～」

一同「キャハハハハ…」

て「ものっすっごい人だね～！」

ミ「でも～あの～、結構名古屋のシーンを、あの～全国に、こう～何て言うんですか…広めた、ファーストステップを切り開いた人って言う感じの人ですね…」

き「ん～なるほど！オーガナイザーなんだ！」

ミ「は～い」

り「ふ～ん」

て「あの～今回米米と、ま～レコーディングやって、仕事もしたりして…」

ミ「は～い」

て「んで～………正直、楽しい？」

一同「がはははは…（爆）」

て「いやいやいや、何か、ちょっとは、ま～楽しいけど、ちょっとあきれてるな～？みたいのがあるのかな～と思って…」

ク「はははは…」

ミ「正直に言っていいですか？」

て「ん、正直に…」

ミ「正直……」（もったいぶっている）

て「ん…」（ドキドキしている）

ミ「楽しいです！」

て「楽しい！うわ～良かったな～」

一同「あはははは…」

て「俺も～それ期待してたよ、」

一同「がはははは…」

て「ほかの事は言って欲しくなかったもん、うふうふうふ…」

一同「あはははは…」

ミ「いや～ほんと嬉しいですよ、だって…あの～」

て「そうだよね、いっつも3人で動いてんだもんね」

ミ「そうですね～あと、僕らこう言う話の時に言ってるんですけど…僕ら聴いて（米米を）育った世代だったんで、ほんと、冗談でもなんでもなくて、カラオケ行けば誰でもが歌う、俺が歌うからマイク貸せよ！みたいな…そう言う世代だったんで、ま～、僕らの友達とか、親、兄弟とか皆含めて、凄いね!凄いね！どうなの?どうなの？って…」

て「米米のファン層って、よく考えたらもう2世代目に入ってるよね」

ミ「そうなんすか？」

て「ん、へたすりゃ3世代目に入ってる人もいるかも？」

ミ「あははは…」

き「子供連れて観に来るからね」

て「そう、50歳代の人が観てたりすると、もう、へたすると孫がいたりして」

ミ「あ～」

て「凄いな～と思うんだよね…でも長くやるって面白いな～と」

ミ「あ～それは凄いですね！」

一同「うむ～…」

ミ「僕らも、ずーと、やれる限りステージに立ってやって行きたいと思っているんですけど、今、ま～28歳なんですけどね、どう？どんな感じなんですか？その、長年やり続けるって事は？…大事な事とかありますか？」

て「た、た、多分？(声が裏返ってる）多分これなんじゃないかなと思うのは…自分～たちに飽きない様にするって言う事が一番大事なんじゃないかな～って」

一同「うむ～…」

て「自分たちが飽きちゃってるとやっぱり、それがお客さんに伝染しちゃってさ…だからきっと、米米が10何年やれたって事は、たぶん飽きずにやって来れたからじゃないかなと思うんだよね～、なんか、やるのが当たり前！みたいな雰囲気に成っちゃうと、多分終わっちゃう様な気がするんだよね、だから常に自分たちで新しいなって思う事を、これやった事ないよ！やって見ようよ！って思う物を、少しずつでも良いから入れ込んで行くと、多分緊張感も保てて、楽しくやって行けるんじゃないかな～と…」

ミ「ん～いろいろ新しい事をね…」

て「こう言う世界にいるとさ、音楽をやる事が凄く特別な事だからさ～、一般の人にしてみたら…だから…凄く、何か、変化とショックに飛んだ…」

ミ「ははは…変化とショック」

て「そうそう、やってて楽しそうだな～と思うかもしれないけど、やっぱりプロに成ってしまえば、ツアーがあって、レコーディングがあって、下手すると単調に成りがちに成っちゃうじゃない…」

ク「そうですね～」

て「それをどうやって飽きない様に、自分たちでサイクルを作って行くか…って結構大事なんだよね…」

ミ「なるほど～」

ク「ん～」

ユ「ん～」

て「あの～コンサートで、ま～今度ビック・ホーンズ・ビーとかも入って来て…大所帯で、バ～ンと言う所で…（どんなとこ？）ラップ！やって下さいよ！ね～！」

ミ・ク・ユ「あ～も～是非お願いします！」

て「ん～絶対楽しいと思うんだよね～」

ク「良いですね～あ～も～やりたいです！是非！」

て「ん～やっぱりなんかね、高揚するんだよね！パッ！って吹かれてると思うとね…」

ミ「僕らもあの～普段はその～やっぱアナログのレコードだったり、CDだったりでライブやるので、その生でって言うのが、正直あんまり体験させてもらった事がなかったので、あの～圧倒的に違いますよね？その～」

て「音圧と言うかね～」

ミ「音圧感がね～やっぱそれぞれが…」

き・り「迫力がね～…」

ミ「自分のパートがあって、そこに打ち込んでる物がやっぱ集まってるんで…あの～楽しいし、良いな～とか思いますね～！」

て「まっ…米米CLUBの魅力は、やっぱり…こう言う大人数のバンドってなかなかいなくてさ、大人数でこう、一つの事をガッと集約した時にさ、あの～9人とか10人とかの力じゃなくてさ、4～5倍の力に成ってお客さんにこう、バ～ンって出すって言う、多分？そう言う気持良さって言うか…それが米米には有るんじゃないかな～て……」

ミ・ク・ユ「う～ん……！」（変に納得している…）

て「リョウジはどうですか？今回 HOME MADE 家族とレコーディングやって…」

り「ん！個人的にも凄く楽しかったですよ…」

き「なんか、生ドラムで録音して、それでラップをやるのは初めてなんだって…」

ク・ユ「初めてでしたね～」

り「光栄ですよね～…」

ミ「処女ですよ，処女！」

り「ありがとうございます。やらせてもらって…（笑）」

ミ・ク・ユ「はははは…」

り「凄く楽しかったし、まずヒップホップ系の人達とレコーディングやるのは初めてで、ライブは何度かあるんだけど…　ラッパーの人達って本当に、ヨーヨーヨーとかしか言わないのかと思ってたら、ちゃんとしゃべるしさ～」

一同「がはははは…」

り「しゃべりとかバッチリだよね～」

て「やっぱ、リリックがね～…」（リリックが、歌詞と言う意味だと言う事をミクロに教えてもらい、やたらと使うテッペイちゃんです…）

一同「わっはっはっはっは…」

り「ちょっと怖い人達かな～とか思っていたら、可愛い子達で……」

て「いや～やっぱ、ライミリーが……」

ミ・ク「はははは…？」

ク「何ですかそれ？」

ミ「ライミングです。」

て「あっ！ライミング、ライミング！」（ラップの世界では、韻を踏む事をライミングと言うそうです。これもミクロに教えて貰っていたテッペイちゃん！）

一同「がっはっはっはっはっは…ライミリー」

て「おう！何だライミング！元気か？なんつって…」

一同「あはははは…」

き「でもさ～テッペイちゃんの歌詞はさ、韻、踏みまくりだからね！」

り「そうだよね！」（その時良治は、韻の意味が分かっていなかった…とほほ）

て「歌詞は以外と昔から詰め込み！」

き「ライマ～ですよ！」

て「ライマ～なんだよ俺！違うか…！」

一同「わはははは…」

て「ライムリーですよ…」

ミ「タイムリー見たいですね？」

一同「きゃははは…」

り「今回レコーディングで、皆でラップやったじゃん」

て「やったね～楽しかったね～！」

り「俺らも初体験だったんだけど、え～っ！そのリズムで？って、歌詞の乗せ方とかが、想像付かないわけ…俺たちが思ってるタイミングで来ないから…普通の歌詞の乗せ方と違うから、うわ～こんな所で、こんなタイミングで、食うの？見たいな感じで、いっしょけんめ（なまってる…本人は気付いていない、とほほ）覚えて、皆で歌ったのが最高に楽しかったね…」

て「やっぱ悔しかったのはさ、ミクロとクロがやってるの聴いてるとさ、何かもう…何て言うのかな～精神の中にラップが入ってるから、結構自然にやってるんだと思うんだよね二人は、そんな考えてこう…やってないんだよね…それが悔しくて、何小節目のところで食いだよね～とか言ってる自分たちが愚かしくて…」

一同「あはははは…」

り「そうだよね！自然だよね…俺ら、何拍目の16分でタタンタで食おうぜ！な～んて話に成るけど、そう言うんじゃないんだもんね！」

て「ん～何かね～確実に世代が変わってるんだな～と感じましたね～」

ミ「でも～僕らもギター弾かせてもらったりとか…もう普段弾かないし、触りもしないんで、ギターとか…もう～やっちゃって良いんですか？みたいな…」

き「はははは…」

ミ「必死でしたけど…だいたいイントロで聞こえて来る、あれ？音はずれてるなって思うのは俺たちなんで…」

き「いやいやいや、バッチリでしたよ！」

て「いや～ほんと良かったよあのイントロ！俺あの時居なかったんだけど、あとから聴いてビデオ見たんだけど、あ～良い絵だな～って…」

ク「ヤマハ音楽教室みたいで…」

一同「がはははは…」

り「それ！良いね～」

き「いや～ほんと良い企画でしたね～！」

て「ラップやったのも楽しかったしね～！」

一同「ほんと楽しかったよね～」

て「難しかったよね…」

ク「今の世代の子達って、カラオケで平気でラップやってるでしょう？」

一同「やってるやってる！」

ク「だからこの先、すっごい上手い子達がいっぱい出て来るんじゃないかと思って、ちょっとヒヤヒヤしてるのもあるんですよね～僕ら自身も…ラップはまだ若い文化なんで…」

て「そうだよね～」

ク「これから育って行くと思うんですよね～」

き「でも、HOME MADE 家族のラップって言うか、曲の作り方の持ち味って、凄くカッコ良くテクニック的にも凄いんだけど、何か…こう～解りやすく伝える！良いメロディーを歌う！良い言葉を強調する！って言うところのイメージが好きだな～！」

り「イイよね～！」

て「あと、なんかね～あんまり小さい事を気にしてないのが良いよね…なんか…これは何っぽくやらなきゃいけないとか…そう言うところじゃない部分での意識が凄く高いよね！それがやっぱり、こじんまりまとまってなくて良いな～と思って…見てます。米米CLUBって、バカふざけはしてるんだけど、以外とジャンルに、変にこだわっていないし、実は自由人が多くって、考え方としては…こう言う、これがやりたいから音楽をやっているんだ！と言うよりは、何か…この人数が集まって、何か面白い事が出来れば良いよね！って言うぐらいの大きい見方で…今までやって来たんだけど…ま～それに共通する広さみたいな物は感じたな…皆受け入れるとか…何処でも入って行くよとか…そう水みたいな…何処にでも浸透して行く様な…そう言う幅の広さは感じたんですよね～！」

ミ「すっ・すっげ～な～！！！」（やたら感動している…）

て「いや～でも凄く大事な事だと思うんだけどな～、ん～…やってて変な悔しさもなかったし…変な意地の張り合いみたいな物もなかったしね…」

り「俺も内部事情までは解らないけど（笑）凄くバランスが取れてるな～と直感的に思いましたよ、俺たちも凄くバランスを大事にするからね…」

て「いや、本当！バランス取れてるよね！HOME MADE 家族も米米CLUBも本当に人間が出来てるな～て！」

一同「がははははは！！！」

て「いや～でも…こんな素晴らしいプロジェクトが出来た事を光栄に思います。今日はどうも有り難うございました！」

て「ん～やっぱり、何か楽しくてしかたないってトコロを見せたいね。やってて楽しくてしかたないんだよっていう（笑）。なんか勝手にさせててくれっていう。」

ぼ「勝手にさせててくれ？！（笑）。」

て「みんなには悪いけど、『勝手にさせててくれ！』っていう、何かそういう風でありたいね。」

＝そういう自由さが…

て「ま、個々、個人個人、自分の人生がそうだけれど、やりたいことをやっているっていう、その姿、無邪気にやっている姿は憎めないからね。何かそうゆうバンドであって欲しいな。」

ぼ「あの～そうね、てっぺいちゃん言ったように、本当みんな夢中で楽しんでるから、そっとしておいて…（笑）。」

一同 大爆笑！

て「ほっといてくれよってね（笑）。」

り「『ほっといてくれ！』っていいよね（笑）。」

ぼ「そんで、みんなの前には、秋にライブをやるから、秋に向かってチョロチョロ世の中に出ていくから…。」

て「そう。」

＝そうね。

て「T2ショーとかもあるからな～ヒヒヒヒヒ（笑）。」

ぼ「何だ、そのT2ショーって？（笑）。」

て「ウフフフフフフ（笑）。」

＝何？（笑）。

て「たつやとくのうショー、ハハハハ（笑）。」

べ「アハハハハハ（笑）。」

き「T2。」

り「凄ぇ～（笑）。」

て「U2を越えるからね（笑）。」

J「お～！」

＝じゃあ、小野ちゃんおねがいします。

J「いや、今から自分もワクワクしているので、新しい自分っていうか、今までの経験をどう見せられるかって…。期待して欲しいです！」

て「やっぱ、今度の米米では、小野ちゃんのラップ聞きたいよね。」

J「ラップ？！」

て「聞きたいな～。」

と「ラップ？ハハッハハ（笑）。」

て「ラップラップで日が暮れる！（と歌い出す）」

ま「アハハハハハハ（笑）。」

J「ガハハハハハ（笑）。」

て「かっこいいと思うんだよな～ハハッハハ（笑）。」

＝では、りょうちゃん。

り「俺ですか。わ～難しいね～。まっ、『凄い楽しみにしていて欲しい！』って感じですね。ホホホホホ（笑）。」

＝じゃあ、とくちゃん。

と「『頑張ろう！』って感じだよね。自分だけじゃなく、『頑張ろう！』って。秋に向けて頑張りましょう！」

＝じゃあBEは？

べ「俺は…何を言おうとしてたっけ？順番が、さっきまでと違って遅くなったから、忘れちゃった(笑)。あの～やっぱりね、そう、あのホームページとかだけだと、まだ情報が少ないと思うわけ。だから、心配している人とかも居ると思うけど、『本当にメンバーが一緒にいると、このムードなんだよ！』っていうのを知って欲しい。安心して、こう、見に来たりしてもらうと、凄くいい時間を一緒に過ごせるんじゃないかと思います。」

＝じゃあ、きんちゃん。

き「急に来たか(笑)。今も楽しくやってるんで『このまま楽しく本番まで持続していきたいな～』と思います。秋まで待っててください。」

て「でも、政治的なところで潰されちゃうかもしんないな。」

一同 大笑い！

＝じゃあ、まり。

ま「私もファンの方達も、気持ち的に青春が帰ってきて、凄い楽しみにしてくれてて、私も凄い楽しみなんだけれど…。その分、ちょっと心配も。テンションが高くなり過ぎて…（笑）。この間もちょっと爆発しちゃったことがあって、この高いテンションを何処に持ってっていいのか分かんない時とか心配（笑）。」

ぼ「ここだけの話…（笑）。」

＝ヒヒヒヒヒヒアー（笑）。

ぼ「シューク2人は大ゲンカした！もの凄い大ゲンカを！！お寿司屋さんで！！！」

SCS「ワ～（笑）。」

ぼ「お店の人もシ～ンとして、お客さんもみんな帰っちゃって…。」

り「マジで？！」

ぼ「もう、大変なぐらいの大ゲンカをして…。」

SCS「ア～！（大笑）」

ぼ「自分は半ベソをかきました。ビビッて…。」

て「でも、大ゲンカ出来るっていうのは、いいことだよね。」

＝そうですよね（苦笑）。もうね～、はい。

ま「その気持ちを大切に！」

ぼ「えっ？！へへへへ（笑）。」

ま「これを本番に活かしたいと思います。」

て「今、米米の中で一番緊張感あるね、このセクション。アハハハハハハ（大笑）。」

一同 大爆笑

て「いいよな～。そうゆう緊張感が俺と小野ちゃんには無いもん、感じないもん(笑)。」

き「アハハハハハ（笑）。」

て「俺たち2人は、正直ぜんぜん緊張感なんて感じないもん（笑）。」

一同 大爆笑

て「だから、そういう点ではな～、アーティストっぽいよ。」

べ「真面目な感じ（笑）。」

ぼ「凛としてるよ、凛と。」

き「尖ってる。」

て「そんなに頑張ってるんだ（笑）。」

一同 大笑

て「そんなに頑張ってるなんて、気の毒になっちゃうよ(笑)。本当に嬉しいよ！」

＝それくらい、活気だっている感じなんですよね。

と「活気だってる？！」

ぼ「ちょっと表現が？」

ま「アハハハハハ（笑）。」

て「殺気だってる（笑）。」

J「"活気だってる"って新しいよね。」

＝で、この活気だっている感じを秋まで引っ張って行って、皆さんも是非、殺気だって楽しく踊って、楽しいライブを…（笑）。

ぼ「すげ～怖いライブになりそうじゃん（笑）。」

＝いや～本当にね、書き込みとかして下さっている皆さんも楽しみにして下さってて、みんな私達と同じく年齢も上がり、お子さん育てたりとか、いろんな…

べ「でも、若い世代の人も書き込んで応援してくれてるよ。」

り「いっぱいいるね。」

＝いっぱいいるけど、まあ…

て「いや、あのね、『若い世代の人が居るなぁ』って読んでると、子供も居たりして…(笑)。」

一同 笑

て「第二世代なんだよ。俺達はやっとディズニーランドに…。」

り「たどり着いた（笑）。」

て「たどり着いたんだよ。凄いよ。3世代で応援してくれてるんだから。」

べ「映像しか見たことないっていう人も居るし。」

り「素晴らしい事だね。」

て「素晴らしいでしょ。当時からファンだった本人と、その妹や弟、で、その子供。他のきっかけで好きになってくれた人も含め、3世代や幅広い世代で応援してくれてる。これは凄いよ、これは。」

り「これで、ディズニーランドにたどり着いたね。」

J「ウフフフフフッフ(笑)。」

て「そうだよ。米米CLUBじゃなくて米米LANDにする？（笑）」

一同 爆笑

て「かっこいい～（笑）。かっこいい～～（笑）。米米LAND（笑）。かっこいい！」

J「米米LAND？エヘヘヘヘヘヘ（笑）。」

＝ということで、このインタビューは第1回のインタビューですか？

ぼ「ロングインタビュー、ほんと長かったよ。」

て「本当だよ。何だかんだで30分以上も喋ってたよ。」

ぼ「いや、50分は喋ってたよ（笑）。」

＝最後にV氏から一言だけ…。

ぼ「V氏いるの？（笑）」

＝厳しいけど、何か一言だけでもいいじゃないですか？一行だけでも…。

ぼ「V氏にお願いか～。」

て「V氏は、この間、俺んところに電話してきて、『石井！何考えてんだ！！』と。」

ぼ「えっ？！はっははは（笑）。みんな、シンとしちゃったよ。」

＝怒られちゃったの？

て「うん。『ホームページに何万件の書き込みがあったか知らないけど、そんなことで人気があるなんて思ってんじゃねえ！』って。」

べ「ハハハハハ（笑）。」

て「更に、『その皆さんの期待に、ちゃんとお返しするぐらいのパワーを、お前は持っているのか？　俺は持ってねえと思うぞ！』と言われちゃって…。で、それを真摯に受け止めて、もっとパワーつけないとな～って、最近、一生懸命、納豆食ってます！」

無事にツアーが決定しました！
加えてシングルの連続リリースも決定しましたので、
ロングインタビュー第４弾は、主に曲作りについて
お届けします。

＝じゃあ、いいでしょうか。今回、出来た曲は結局38曲ですか？(注：4月下旬のロングインタビュー収録時の曲数。現在は56曲に。)

ぼ「そうですね。」

＝全部出来て…。

ぼ「軽井沢で…。」

て「まっ、これからも、きっと出来るでしょう。まだ、ほんとの意味でのソーリー系は少ないからね。それも作んないといけないから…。」

＝どんな感じの曲がお気に入りかっていうのを…。

て「やっぱり俺は金ちゃんが作ってきたラテンの曲とかね。すごい完成度高いしね。」

＝ジャンル的にはどんな？

て「いや、ラテン系な感じのやつから、それこそあの～パンク系まで色々あるけど、気持ち的なところの、なんていうかパワーを感じている曲は多いね。それは凄くいいんじゃないかな。その～なんか、心底『見たり聴いたりしてくれる人達が、一緒に楽しめる曲を作るんだ！』って言う意識はなかなかいいんじゃない。」

＝なるほど。得能さんはどうですか？

と「なんか、みんな個性があるし。なんか、あの～、いっぱいあるけど、一個一個ちゃんと思い出せるような、個性がある曲が揃ってていいじゃないかなって思う。いわゆるソーリー系も何曲かあったし…。」

＝なるほどね。

て「やっぱり"ロシアンルームメイト"。」

一同「ワハッハハハッハ（笑）。」

て「今んとこはな。今んとこは。これから、もっと凄いの出てくるかもしれないよ。」

ぼ「ネーミングが素晴らしいよ。」

て「そうそう。」

＝じゃあ、金ちゃんは？

き「あの～合宿に行く前に、えっと～都内の某スタジオでやったシリーズの中に、シュークがちょっと高い声で歌おうという。リフしかない…。」

て「リフ物ね。」

き「あの曲に非常に…。」

て「あれね。」

ぼ「"ぱやっぱやっ"てやつ。」

き「"ぱやっぱやっ"ていうのが、あれを完成させたいですね。」

ぼ「あ～、あれはもしかしたら、ライブでの目玉曲になるかも…。」

て「そうかもしんない。」

き「凄いかもしんない。」

J「あ～、あれは30分ぐらいやれるんじゃない。」

き「リフもんに弱い。いいリフ出てんな～って感じですね。」

＝小野田君、ジェームスは？

J「今でもこ～寝てる時でも頭の中に出てくるんですけど、"アメリ○が好きだ"っていう曲。」

て「あれは残るよね。」

J「言っちゃっていいのかな？」

ぼ「アメリ○が好きだ（笑）。」

J「これは、ぜったい口ずさんじゃうから。」

て「あれは問題曲だよ。あれはソーリー曲じゃないよ、あれはね、問題曲。」

り「問題曲。」

J「メッセージがある。」

き「キョウシロウさんも登場する。」

て「キョウシロウさんも登場する。とっても～…。」(注：キョウシロウさんの歌マネでてっぺいちゃんが歌ってる)

＝アハハハハハ（笑）。

て「キョウシロウさんだから、リスペクトイマワノ。リスペクトイマワノ。」

り「俺、俺はね、思ったの。メロディーの良い曲とかもいっぱいあって、どれをとってもいいんだけれど、でも一番感じたのが、バンドっぽい、みんなの顔が見えたりとか、演奏してる顔が見えてるのを敢えて作ろうっていうのがあったから。あの～金ちゃんの、あの～ラテンのやつ…。」

＝てっぺいちゃんと一緒ですね。

り「あれが、やっぱりいいな～っていうのがあって、シングル候補とかにも上がったし。」

て「シングル候補に上がんなかったけど、良治が自分で作ってきたのが3曲ぐらいあって、そん中に"わすれないよ"っていう歌詞に俺がしたやつがあるんだけれど、これは、俺は結構好きなんだよ。」

き「好き。」

て「あれはね、逆に『俺達がやれば独自のものになるんだ。』って、なんかね～そうゆう自信をつけさせてもらったね。良治の知り合いのボーカリストが、前に詞を書いていて歌っていたのがあったんだけど、米米のみんなで演奏し始まって全くべっこの物になった訳。で、やっぱりあのカールスモーキー石井が歌っている米米の歌にやっぱなった。それを見てね『どんな曲でも米米の中に入れてしまえば、もう俺達の世界になっちゃうんだな。』ってね。あれは凄くね～逆に言うと、やっぱりバンドなんだな～。『このメンバーでしか奏でられない事。』っていうのがね、やっぱそこにはあって、ほんとべっこの物になっちゃったもんね。そこは凄いなって。そのパワーはね。確実にきちんとデザインされたものがあるにも拘らず、その方程式に違う俺達の方程式を入れちゃうと、全然違う答えが出てくるというのがね。俺は自信を持っていいじゃないかな～って思うね。米米の音楽を古いとか新しいとか、これからもいろんな風に言われるかもしれないけれど、俺達から言わせると『ほら、出来ねえだろっ！』ていう、ザマアミロっていう感じだよね。」

＝それはあるかもしれない。

て「『このメンバーでしか出来ない！』という意識が、あの合宿で出来たような気がする。それが、曲が30何曲出来たよりも、俺は嬉しいな～。そこの意識が出来たってことがね。」

＝自分に気がつくって凄いですよね。

て「自分達の音に気がつくって大きいよね。やっぱ、ずーとやってて、忙しさにかまけててやってると、分かんないじゃん。自分達の魅力とかね。」

＝そうですね。

て「ま、自分達の魅力っていうのも変だけどさ。良さってのかな。ちょっと離れてみて、で、もう一回、音出し合ってみると、やっぱ、それぞれ魅力的だったんだなって分かってね。凄くあの～、なんていうのかな、相乗効果で音楽が出来上がって行ったんだなっていう化学反応がよく分かったよね。だから米米CLUBの方程式がなんか、なんとなくこの歳になって分かったような感じがするね。」

＝じゃあ、べーに。

べ「はい。今ね、てっぺいちゃんの話しもそうだけど、みんな曲の種みたいのをね、合宿には持って来ていて。で、それぞれで完成させることも出来るんだけれど、ここに種を持って来てそれがどう育つかっていう、楽しみを持っていて。それで、それをみんな、こう、見るのが好きな人達なんだと思った。でね、その、まだ30数曲の中にはスケッチみたいなものもあるんだけれど、これからどう育つかっていうのを、みんなもウキウキしてて。そうゆうのの素となるのが、「遊び」っていう事なんだよね。合宿してみて、それを感じました。」

＝じゃあ、リーダー、ボンは？

ぼ「ん～、本当にみんなの言ってる通りなんですけど…。」

て「お百姓さんだね、俺達。」

J「ウヘヘヘヘヘヘ（笑）。」

き「アハハハハハ（笑）。」

ぼ「でも、一つあったのが、ほら、意識的にコーラスマイク立ててさ…。」

き「あ～。」

ぼ「無理矢理でも。」

べ「ウハハハハ（笑）。」

ま「コーラス入れて…（笑）。」

ぼ「ウーアー（"白玉"といわれるコーラスのパターンの事。ビーチボーイズとかで有名。）入れたりさ、気に障わる声もいるけど（笑）。」

と「なんだよ！」

べ「ハハハハ（笑）。」

ぼ「そこでなんか、ムードを作ろう作ろうとしてたのは面白かったな。」

＝うん。

き「そうだね。それは今までやったことなかったね。」

と「やったことなかった。」

ぼ「もう少し楽器の方に行っちゃうんだけど、それより楽器に行かずに…。」

て「やっぱ、諦めみたいのが出たんだよ。」

ぼ「ガハハハハハ！（爆笑）」

て「アハハハハ（爆笑）。『これはやってもだめだ！』と。これは声で行こうと…。」

ぼ「『声を出すの楽しいや！』って、みたいのが凄いあるかもしれない。でもそこは…。」

て「いい諦めあきらめだよ。」

ぼ「いい諦め？（笑）」

て「アハッハハハハ！（笑）」

ぼ「でもなんかね、やっぱりね、バンドの基本っていうか、みんなで声出してやるのは凄いエネルギー出るし。で、やっぱシングル候補曲の、あの～最初は「Shake Hip」の「2」みたいな「Shaking Hip」って言ってて…。」

て「へへへへ（笑）。」

ぼ「そんな仮タイトルの曲が、「WELL COME 2」って曲に進化して行くんだけれど、本当に、やっぱり米米らしい。他のバンドじゃ出来ない。」

て「出来ないね。」

ぼ「それが楽しいのかもしれない。」

て「あんなに尖っているのに痛くないんだよね。『それがいいな！』って思う。それは、米米でやってるからだと思うんだよね。」

り「今日、また、ますます良くなった。」

て「普通だったらトゲトゲしくなって、嫌みっぽくなっちゃう。それがね、そうなんないのがいいと思うね。」

＝で、まりちゃんは？

ま「あのラテンの曲、好きだけど…。曲を作っている時に、あのコードがあって、それにてっぺいちゃんがメロディーを乗せて作ってとかをやってて、他のバンドは余り知らないけど、こんな、みんなそれぞれ違う音楽の趣味だったりするのに、なんか、それが凄くいい。こう、なんか、なんだろう、不思議っていうか、普通だったら揉めごとになりそうな感じの事が、なんかほんとに、良い感じで盛り上がって出来ちゃうのがなんかすごい。」

て「多分ね、多ジャンルだったからだと思うよ。みんなそれぞれ『重なってこれが好き！』って訳じゃなくてさ、みんなバラバラな趣味のヤツが集まって、それで一応、そいつの趣味をリスペクトまで行かなくても、とりあえずは認めてる感じ。だからきっと自由なんだと思うよ。だから次から次へと違うことやっても不思議と思わないし、普通のバンドはあれを見たら『こいつら何やりてぇんだろ？』って。」

J「オッホホホホ。」

て「ビッグ・クエッションになっちゃうと思うんだよね。でも、一生懸命みんながシングル用だってレコーディングしてる、金ちゃんが作ってきた、あの～ラテンっぽいえ～と"ヘイワ・ノ・セカイ"って曲も、やっぱり米米CLUBが演奏すると、そんなにラテンっぽく聞こえて来ない。」

＝あれは不思議な…。

て「『米米っぽくなっちゃったな！』ってねえ。そうゆうつもりで、やって来てもそうなってかないって、なんか、いい裏切り。遊びん中には面白いのがいっぱいあんだよね。それが、面白いんだ。ほんとはね。音楽の面白いところだと思うよ。そうならないって、なかなか…。」

＝合宿で改めて『みんなパワーあるな～』って思ったんですが。

て「まず『ここでは、いろんな事を出していい。』っていう安心感があって、その上でお互いに、『この連中の前では、いろんなアイディアを出してやる！』というエネルギーを持っていたからね。ある意味、凄くこう…フリーだよね。」

ぼ「うん。」

て「フリーで居られる状態を保てるメンバーだと思う。」

＝う～。

て「そこは何か…そう、曲とかいっぱい出来るのはそこだと思うな。」

ぼ「そこが何か仕事チックだったら…。」

て「そうなんだよ。」

ぼ「すぐ休みたくなっちゃうし…。」

き「う～ん。そうなんだよ。」

ぼ「仕事じゃないから…。」

き「そうなんだよ。」

ぼ「夢中に…。」

き「そう、そうなんだよ。」

て「音楽を遊びにしてるからね。」

ぼ「うん。そうだね。」

て「うん、だから良い曲もいっぱい出来たしね。」

ぼ「そうだね～。何か、ちっちゃい時とかほら、外で遊んでて真っ暗になってさ、人の顔が見えないぐらいまでズーと遊んでた時みたいに…。」

J「ウフフフフッフ（笑）。」

ぼ「夢中で遊んでてさ（笑）。家帰って凄い怒られる（笑）。」

て「夜７時とか８時になっちゃってさ。暗くまで…。」

ぼ「でも遊ぶ。なんかやり過ぎる。」

＝それはあるかもしれないね。

ぼ「そんな感じだね。」

＝さて、合宿中に『気なる』行動とかしてた人っていますか？

て 「『気になる』といったら得能の声ぐらい（一同、笑）。」

き「アハハハハハ（笑）。」

＝これは、みんな全員一致ですね。

ぼ「一時、伊豆に住んでいた。」

＝みんなV氏のコメントの「そのブヨブヨな体」に対してはどうでしたか？

て「体、鍛えてるよ。」

て「やはりガツンときたね。ボンなんかそれでもって、あの朝マラソン始めたようなね。」

ぼ「そうだよ、ほんと。」

＝みんな、それぞれ体力作り始まったようですが…（ここで、ミナコちゃんが質問をしてる最中、りょうちゃんが腹式呼吸で腹筋を鍛えだし、鼻での呼吸を強調した腹式呼吸独特の音が、マイクにのってうっすらと入っている。）

ぼ「ほんと、そこしかないし。」

て「二十歳とか二十代のころとかってさ燃焼率が早かったけどさ…。」

て「この年になって、今こおやってバーンって突然に運動して汗かいたりすると、頬とかがこけてやつれる（笑）。」

き「ハハッハッハッハ（笑）。」

て「でぇ、腹とかはそのまんまなんだよね。ハハッハハ(一同、大笑）。」

て「さいあく～最悪だよ（笑）。」

J「肩の肉も落ちちゃう。」

て「あの、昔、巻物で見た餓鬼みたいになっちゃう。」

て「で、こん～なんなって、腹だけボコって出てたりさ、最悪な体になっちゃうわけ。栄養失調みたいな。だから、よほどきちんと～あの～食事療法とか、そうゆうのからちゃんとやんないと、だめだと思うね～。」

＝食事といえば、軽井沢なので、あの有名な横川の釜飯…。

り「食べたね～。」

ぼ「いっぱい食べたよ。」

て「ん～ん。凄い美味さだったね！？」

べ＆ぼ「アハッハッハハ（笑）。」

て「アハッハッハ（笑）。」

き「ハハハハハハハハ（笑）。」

べ「すげ～つまんない話しだけど笑える（笑）。」

と「美味かったよね。」

て「強力な美味さだったよ！？」

て「俺はもうね～感動したよ！？」

べ「横川の？（笑）」

と「ガツンと。」

べ「釜飯？」

て「猛烈に食ったよ。俺は！？」

り「猛烈！」

ぼ「お腹はグーグー鳴っていたけどね。」

て「グーグー鳴ってんだよ。何かお互いに、段々とプレーリードッグみたいになってってんだよ。」

て「こういう風に見てさあ…（プレーリードッグの形態模写をする）。」

と「遠くをね（笑）。ニオイも嗅ぎながら（笑）。」

て「それで、一段落して食べに行ったらば、もう冷えてんだよ。」

ぼ「冷えてんだよ。」

て「釜飯が、釜飯が冷えてんだぜ。」

ぼ「それでもみんな、むさぼり食う。」

て「冷え釜飯。食うには食ったんだけどさ～。あれがね～温かかったらねえ…。」

て「釜飯…釜飯は微妙だったな～。」

ぼ「でも、冷えても美味しいから…。」

て「美味しいのを食いたかったよ…。」

＝一つだけ余って、冷蔵庫に冷やしていたんですよ釜飯。それをボンは、夜中にお酒のつまみに、また食べてた。

て「冷やしていたやつを？　もう、もう舌どうかなっちゃったんじゃない？」

ぼ「そんなことないよ。あれは冷えても美味しい。横川の釜飯は…。」

て「硬くなるじゃん！」
